Sheeron randall| Hip Hop
From a young age , Sheeron was always enticed with music and dance. Whether it be the soulful R&B and Gospel in his grandmother's den, the early listenings of his favorite hip-hop artists, the likes of Nas and Lupe Fiasco, or the mesmerizing visuals of the Moonwalker Vhs he’d watch everyday fueled his vision for his dance career. Music and dance was and always has been an intricate factor in his life.
After graduating high school, Truth went on to explore the nightlife in Philadelphia and be incorporated within the club scene as a promoter/security. He became closer with the DJ’s and the dancers on the floors in each club, exchanging in different cyphers, battling and all around the Philly dance scene in 09’ -10’. Dancing in the Philadelphia, I was discovered by Kyle and Dinita Clark and became one of the founding members of JustSole: Street Dance Theatre. With them as mentors, I studied the foundations of House dance and Hip-hop social dance from 2012-2021/2022 while performing a multitude of pieces on stages throughout the east coast. I’ve taken part in different workshops learning from innovators and pioneers of dance forms from Popping , Waaking ,Locking , House dance, Hip-hop social and more through the “Clarks Method” within the FunkySole Fundamental Workshops. I went on to venture deeper into each of these forms of dance and eventually create my own style within the realms of each form. Through many hours of training and due diligence, while in the club or on my own time in the studio, I developed a unique way of interpretation of dance through and with the music.
Looking to further delve into my artistry, I was accepted into the MOPTOP Universal program in NYC at the Peridance center. This is where I continued to train and learn from the creators and Innovators of Hip-hop and House dance for the duration of the program. After performing with and receiving my certification, I continued my invocation and came back to Philadelphia to teach to the current point of this day and age.
