Connect
The Youth Dance Fest unites talented and aspiring dancers through the celebration and performance of dance. YDF offers them an experience that will enrich and inspire their craft. The Festival provides an opportunity for young dancers to learn from their peers, connect through dance, and gain a sense of community.
GROW
YDF participants are given the opportunity to take Master Classes, which allow the students to broaden their knowledge and appreciation of dance culture.YDF hires world class teachers, connecting the young dancers to the professional world of dance. Additionally, YDF holds scholarship audition classes at each festival for different Summer Programs allowing dancers to expand their training opportunities.
Perform
Participating companies will have the opportunity to experience performing with lighting and sound in in professional theaters. The festival acts as an opportunity to expose local audience members to the young dance community, building support for the next generation of dancers as they continue to pursue dance professionally.
